The rotary screen or rotating drum screen is an automatic piece of equipment or machinery that performs a dimensional separation of the waste to be treated, which is selected and sent to subsequent treatment processes. Thanks to their effectiveness and versatility, they are frequently used in treatment plants to sieve various types of waste, for example: MSW, plastic, organic residue, wood, inert materials etc... they can have a fixed structure in treatment plants treatment or furniture for example in the wood or inert materials sector, therefore transportable from one place to another according to operational needs.
How does it work the rotating screens?
It is composed of a filter-separator cylinder with pre-perforated mesh and by rotating it selects only the fractions desired size while the remainder comes out from the side opposite to the loading side. The loading system is carried out with conveyor belts, the exit of the material occurs by gravity.
The building material can be made of iron, galvanized steel or stainless steel depending on the needs, being interchangeable it is possible to reduce/increase the size of the fractions to be sieved. The rotating drum screens are machines that are easy to clean and maintain.
The rotary screens are designed and manufactured in a customized form taking into consideration the parameters indicated by the customer, the type of plant and the material to be treated.
